More than three dozen key management post holders in public and private sectors from Hong Kong and overseas will address a public-sector reform conference on April 3 and 4.
Entitled Advancing People-based Services: Public Sector Challenges & Opportunities, the conference will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo.
The Efficiency Unit event will provide a platform for successful change managers to share their experience in delivering services while meeting the rising and ever-changing expectations of the public and customers.
The conference consists of a plenary session, followed by breakout panel sessions on related topics.
Guest speakers
Chief Secretary for Administration Rafael Hui, State Council Informatisation Office Director General Chen Xiaozhu, Cathay Pacific Airways Chief Executive Philip Chen, and Human Services Department Secretary of Victoria, Australia, Patricia Faulkner will be the keynote speakers.
After the plenary session, the conference will divide into two sub-themes - Performance Management, and People-based Services.
Session speakers and panel discussion hosts come from a wide spectrum, including senior government officials and administrators and key figures in public bodies and international companies, Executive and Legislative Council Members, and professionals and academics.
