Clement Chen has been appointed chairman of the Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund Board for two years from April 1, succeeding Ho Sai-chu.
Paul Yin, Patrick Chan and Chan Wai-lun have also been appointed members of the board while incumbent members Ma Ho-fai, Lam Shuk-yee and Cheung Pak-chi have been re-appointed for another two years.
The board is constituted under the Protection of Wages on Insolvency Ordinance with the task of administering the fund which provides ex-gratia payment to employees whose employers become insolvent.
