Full-time member named to Central Policy Unit
*

The Central Policy Unit has appointed Lau Sai-leung as a full-time member with effect from today, to June 30, 2007.

 

Mr Lau is an experienced commentator. He was the Consulting Chief Editor of Hong Kong Tom Group Limited, and holds a Master of Philosophy (Sociology) degree awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1991.

 

Mr Lau will assist Central Policy Unit Head Prof Lau Siu-kai in generating new policy ideas, conducting policy research, analysing social, political and economic conditions, and networking with stakeholders.

 

Prof Lau said he was extremely pleased with the wealth of media experience and background that Mr Lau would bring to the unit.
