Dr Leung Nai-kong has been named chairman of the Academy for Performing Arts' council for one year, with effect from January 1.
Priscilla Wong has also been appointed a council member for a term of two years, also effective January 1.
The council is the governing and executive body of the academy and may exercise all the powers conferred and perform all the duties imposed on the academy by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Ordinance.
