A $1.5-million Disaster Relief Fund grant has been approved for World Vision to provide emergency aid to earthquake victims in Kashmir.

The committee has approved three applications totalling $6.5 million to help the South Asia earthquake victims.

To ensure the money is used properly the committee will ask for an evaluation report and audited accounts once the relief project is complete.
