Financial Secretary Henry Tang and Secretary for the Environment, Transport & Works Dr Sarah Liao will represent Hong Kong at the celebration for the 50th anniversary of the setting up of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the coming week.

They will form part of the Central Delegation for the function.

Dr Liao will attend related activities from today to September 29, while Mr Tang will join on September 29 and return to Hong Kong on October 1.
