3 nominations for district council by-election
*

Three candidates have been nominated to run in the by-election in the King Tin Constituency of the Kwun Tong District Council. Voting will be conducted on Sunday, October 23.

 

The candidates are consultant Cheung Shun Wah, Legislative Councillor Fred Li and social worker Chan Man Luen Ying.

 

A briefing for the candidates and their agents will be held at the Kwun Tong District Council Conference Room on September 24. Electoral Affairs Commission chairman Justice Woo Kwok-hing will chair the briefing and introduce the guidelines on election-related activities.

 

A representative from the Independent Commission Against Corruption will explain the Elections (Corrupt & Illegal Conduct) Ordinance. The Returning Officer and officials of the Registration & Electoral Office, Post Office and Department of Justice will also be present.
