The Hong Kong Government today received a 27-member delegation from the Taipei City Council, the Constitutional Affairs Bureau says, adding it is conducive to keeping Taiwan residents abreast of the latest developments in Hong Kong.

The delegation, led by councillor Hou Guan-qun, were briefed on the employment situation in Hong Kong and Government efforts to combat corruption and provide social welfare services.

The delegates visited the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Social Welfare Department and Labour Department, and attended a lunch reception hosted by the bureau.
