Victor Lo re-appointed Science Park chief

*

Victor Lo has been re-appointed Chairman of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation Board of Directors and named five new members to the board for two years from July 1.

The new appointees are Alice Chin, Nancy Ip, Lawrence Lau, Lee Shing-see and Johnny Yeung. Eight members have been reappointed for two years - Nicholas Brooke, George Chung, Herbert Hui, York Liao and Wong Kai-man for two years. Ng Tat-lun, Anthony Tan and Peter Yam have been reappointed for one year.

Secretary for Commerce, Industry & Technology John Tsang said Mr Lo has made valuable contributions in steering the corporation's development since its inception in May 2001.

"We are confident the corporation will continue to help Hong Kong stride forward in innovation and technology development under his able leadership," he added.

He believed the board of directors, with a good mix of expertise and knowledge, will enhance the existing technological infrastructure to contribute to Hong Kong's position as a regional centre for innovation and technology.
