Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa will take leave during the Lunar New Year festive period between February 9 and 12.
During Mr Tung's absence, Chief Secretary Donald Tsang will be the Acting Chief Executive from February 9 until his departure from Hong Kong on February 10.
Financial Secretary Henry Tang will then be the Acting Chief Executive until Mr Tung resumes duties on February 13.
