The Chief Executive has appointed Raymond Tang Equal Opportunities Commission Chairman for a five-year term from January 12.

Mr Tang was Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data since November, 2001.

The Government thanked the commission's outgoing chief Patricia Chu for her valuable contribution in the past year.
