CE accepts Michael Wong's resignation
*

Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa has received a resignation letter from Equal Opportunities Commission Chairman Michael Wong.

 

Mr Tung said he respects Mr Wong's decision and has accepted the resignation, which will be effectuive from tomorrow. He will appoint a new chairman as soon as possible.

 

Mr Wong announced his resignation this afternoon after a commission meeting.
