CE to attend Boao Forum conference
*

Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa will visit Hainan Province on November 1 to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2003.

 

The conference theme is "Asia Searching for Win-Win: Development through Cooperation".

 

Mr Tung will attend a dinner e hosted by Premier Wen Jiabao on November 1. The next morning, he will deliver a speech at the conference's plenary session.

 

WK Lam, the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Information Services Yvonne Choi, the Chief Executive's Private Secretary Robin Ip, and his Senior Special Assistant Chan Kin-ping will accompany Mr Tung.

 

He will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon of November 2. During the absence of Mr Tung, Chief Secretary Donald Tsang will be the Acting Chief Executive.
