Hu Fa-kuang has been reappointed Chairman of the General Committee of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Society Limited for the period November 1, 2003 to October 31, 2004. The Government has also re-appointed seven members and appointed one new member.

The general commitee members are:

* Prof Chan Wing-wah;

* Darwin Chen;

* Janice Choi Kwan;

* Brenda Chow;

* Edward Ho;

* Daniel Ng;

* So Hau-leung; and

* Geoffrey Yeh.

The appointments will be published in the Government Gazette on October 24.
