The Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme Advisory Committee members have been reappointed for 18 months, from September 30 to March 29, 2005.

They are Nelson Chow (Chairman), Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority Managing Director Diana Chan (Deputy Chairman), Bernard Chan, Desmond Chan, Chan Yuen-han, David Chu, Ho Sai-chu, Ng Leung-sing, Danny Ngai, Poon Siu-ping and Sin Chung-kai.

Launched in 2000, the Mandatory Provident Fund System has been operating smoothly. The advisory committee is a statutory body which advises the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority on the operation of the MPF Schemes Ordinance and the effectiveness and efficiency of the authority.
