Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Stephen Lam will depart for Australia on September 21 to brief officials and media there on Hong Kong's latest developments.
Issues include the implementation of the One Country, Two Systems policy and constitutional development.
In Perth, he will speak at a luncheon hosted by the Asia Society AustralAsia Centre. He will also meet Federal Minister for Justice Christopher Ellison and Western Australia Law Society President Elizabeth Heenan.
In Sydney, Mr Lam will speak at a luncheon by New South Wales' Hong Kong-Australia Business Association and the Australia China Business Council.
His agenda also covers meetings with New South Wales Attorney-General Bob Debus, Law Society President Robert Benjamin, Bar Association President Bret Walker, and representatives of two think tanks - the Asia-Australia Institute and the Gilbert & Tobin Centre for Public Law.
Mr Lam will return to Hong Kong on September 24.
