British PM to visit HK July 22-24
*

British Prime Minister Tony Blair will visit Hong Kong July 22-24, to meet the Chief Executive, legislators, business leaders and students.

The trip forms the final leg of his week-long visit to the United States and the Far East. He will also visit Japan, South Korea and China.

He will visit Beijing and Shanghai on July 21-22 where he will hold talks with President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao. He will also call on former President Jiang Zemin.

Mr Blair first visited Hong Kong to attend the handover ceremony in June, 1997. His last visit was in October, 1998.
