Tight schedule: Premier Wen Jiabao visits a family in Amoy Gardens, meets Prince of Wales Hospital staff, and tours Sha Tin Town Plaza.

Mr Wen offered his condolences in person to Amoy Gardens resident Kwok Shin-hung whose wife died of SARS soon after giving birth to a son. Mr Kwok's six-year-old daughter played piano to welcome the Premier.

The visit came after Mr Wen visited Kwai Chung Container Terminal, Sha Tin Town Plaza and Prince of Wales Hospital this morning.

He highly commended frontline healthcare workers for their fight against SARS.

Mr Wen also took a harbour cruise to inspect several infrastructure projects, including the Disneyland site at Penny's Bay.

He was accompanied by Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa, Chief Secretary for Administration Donald Tsang, Financial Secretary Antony Leung, and Secretary for Justice Elsie Leung.

The party disembarked at Kwai Chung Container Port and visited Terminal 4, where the Premier and his entourage viewed a model of the port, inspected its control centre and watched a multimedia presentation on its operations monitoring and ship-planning systems.
