SARS commemoration committee formed

*

Fifteen celebrities have been appointed to the Advisory Committee on the Commemoration of the Fight Against SARS.

 

Holding its first meeting tomorrow afternoon, the committee, chaired by Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho, will examine memorials or activities to commemorate the SARS fight so that these values will stay with the community.

 

It will gather views from all sectors with a view to finding a permanent way to commemorate the wonderful spirit Hong Kong demonstrated in the virus fight.

 

Members are: Dr Patrick Ho (chairman), Dr Chan Man-hung, Dr Chan Choi-lai, Leslie Chen, Jao Tsung-I, Prof Ambrose King, Eric Leung, Leung Chun-ying, Dr Lo Wing-lok, Ma Fung-kwok, Cecilia So, Judy Tong, Tsang Kee-kung, Dr Rosanna Wong, Raymond R. Wong, and

Dr Raymond Wu.
