The Lands Department today posted resumption notices and acquisition notices for the implementation of the Second Phase Development of the Yuen Long South New Development Area (YLS NDA).

About 56 hectares of land involving a total of 1,231 private lots will be resumed. The land will revert to the Government three months from the date of the notices.

Meanwhile, about 14.54 sq m of government land being occupied by two graves and four urns will be acquired.

The YLS NDA is a southern extension of Yuen Long New Town and will provide about 32,900 housing units accommodating a new population of about 98,700.
