Light housing service tender opens
The Housing Bureau today invited tenders for the operation and management of a Light Public Housing (LPH) project at Olympic Avenue, Kai Tak (Phase 1). The deadline is noon at March 14.
The Olympic Avenue LPH project comprises two phases, providing respectively about 3,000 units in the fourth quarter of 2025 and 7,700 units in the third quarter of 2026.
The services involved in the contract being tendered include occupant management, property management, daily maintenance, provision of social services, and the management and operation of ancillary facilities.
To ensure service quality, the bureau said it will carry out a technical assessment of tender applicants based on factors including their management capabilities, relevant experience and past service performance. It will also consider their proposed modes of operation and management, the social service support they plan to provide, any exit plans and the feasibility thereof, and their use of innovation and information technology. Each tender price will then be evaluated to form a consolidated assessment and decide on the most suitable organisation for the contract.
Tenders from all capable and experienced service providers, including non-government organisations, or collaborations between different providers, are welcome.
Interested organisations may download the tender documents via the bureau’s website or from the e-Tendering System. Alternatively, they can contact the Dedicated Team on Light Public Housing to obtain the relevant documents.
Tenderers must submit their tenders before the deadline, either electronically via the e-Tendering System or by deposit in the Government Secretariat Tender Box, which is situated at the lobby of the public entrance on Ground Floor, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar.
