The Government today announced the appointment of two new members to the Programme & Development Committee through the Member Self-recommendation Scheme for Youth.

The newly appointed members are Dr Kelvin Chiu and Lora Chow. Their terms will run from tomorrow until October 31, 2026.

Dr Chiu is currently working as a doctor in the Hospital Authority, and is also an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong.

In addition to being the Co-founder of the Yale Alumni Chamber Music Society of Hong Kong and Virtuoso Fiesta, Ms Chow is a composer and soprano.

Together with other board members, they will advise the Leisure & Cultural Services Department on programme strategies, plans, resource allocations and support for budding and small-scale performing arts groups.
