Secretary for Transport & Logistics Mable Chan will lead members of the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council on a visit to Nanning, Guangxi tomorrow to explore business opportunities in the logistics and maritime sectors.

Ms Chan and the delegation will visit local logistics facilities and attend a Guangxi-Hong Kong seminar on logistics and maritime business opportunites with a view to promoting Hong Kong's strengths as an international logistics hub. She will also meet Nanning officials.

Ms Chan will return to Hong Kong on Wednesday night. During her absence, Under Secretary for Transport & Logistics Liu Chun-san will be the Acting Secretary.
