The Development Bureau today invited market players to submit expressions of interest within three months in relation to three large-scale land disposal pilot areas in the Northern Metropolis.

The bureau released information on the three pilot areas, which are in the Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen New Development Area, the Fanling North New Development Area, and the San Tin Technopole, on November 29.

The Government hopes to collect market views and suggestions in order to finalise the open tender details and conditions for the three areas at a later date. It aims to commence tendering work for the areas progressively from the second half of 2025 into 2026.

The invitation brochure sets out a baseline scenario for each of the pilot areas, along with specific development requirements.

The Government also welcomes innovative and feasible suggestions from the market to enable greater participation in the development of the Northern Metropolis.

Interested enterprises must submit their expressions of interest to a designated box at Room 2129-30, 21/F, North Point Government Offices, by noon on March 31, 2025.

The bureau will hold a briefing session on its invitation on January 16, 2025.
