The Land Registry logged 7,689 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in November, up 31.3% compared with October and up 117.7% year-on-year.

The total consideration for such agreements in November rose 53.9% from October, to $64.1 billion, representing a 161.3% year-on-year growth.

Of the agreements, 6,298 were for residential units, amounting to a 34.1% increase from October and a 146.6% surge from a year ago.

The total consideration for residential units was $57.3 billion, up 53.6% compared with October and up 191.1% year-on-year.

There were 382,391 land register searches last month.
