P1 admissions to be announced
The results of Primary 1 discretionary places for September 2025 will be released on November 18, the Education Bureau announced today.
Out of the 41,781 children applying for discretionary places in government and aided primary schools this year, 20,644 will be offered a place in such schools.
Among them, 10,644 have siblings studying or parents working at the schools they have applied to, while the remaining 10,000 are selected according to the Points System.
Parents who have activated their Primary One Admission e-platform (ePOA) account can check the results via the ePOA from 10am that day.
They can also bring the parent's copy of the paper application form and check the results between 9am and 5pm next Monday at the school they have applied to.
Registration of successful applicant children should be made on November 20 or 21.
The Education Bureau will invite parents of applicant children who have failed to secure a discretionary place for Central Allocation via letter in early January 2025.
Parents are encouraged to register using the iAM Smart+ mobile app for more convenient services, including submitting the Choice of Schools Form via ePOA.
