Typhoon Toraji departs

The Hong Kong Observatory downgraded the storm signal from No. 8 to No. 3, as Typhoon Toraji moved away from the city this morning.
The No. 8 Northeast Gale or Storm Signal, issued at 11.10pm yesterday, was replaced by the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 at 10.20pm today.
The Hospital Authority said one woman sought medical treatment at a public hospital due to a typhoon-related injury.
During the storm, the 1823 Government Call Centre received three reports of fallen trees, while the Fire Services Department received 10.
Meanwhile, the Home Affairs Department opened 27 temporary shelters, at which 120 people sought refuge.
