The Leisure & Cultural Services Department (LCSD) today launched a new one-stop web portal to make it easy and convenient for people to search for performing arts programmes presented or sponsored by the department and venue information.

The portal’s user-centric design features a scrolling banner at the top that shows the latest programme highlights.

Apart from making use of an event calendar to search for programmes by date, programme type or art form, users can easily browse and select the programmes they prefer.

They may also search for programmes by date, venue or other keywords according to their preferences and needs.

Hyperlinks on the programme information page will direct users to URBTIX or other platforms for instant purchase or further ticketing details.

Additionally, the one-stop portal provides basic information about all 16 performance venues under the department. Those interested in hiring venue facilities can visit the LCSD Performance Venues e-Application & Payment Services, or e-APS, to make bookings and pay rental fees online.

The portal will introduce additional functions later, such as monthly e-calendar subscriptions, and e-enrolment for talks and workshop activities.
