The Major Sports Events Committee announced today that it has awarded “M” Mark status to the WBSC Baseball5 World Cup 2024, which will be held at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from Monday to next Saturday.

Major Sports Events Committee Chairman Wilfred Ng said Baseball5, which breaks away from conventional baseball, will provide a thrilling experience for global audiences while contributing to Hong Kong's local economy and sports development.

He added that he believes that the event will be an important milestone in promoting the popularity of Baseball5 in the community.
