The delegation also visited Tsinghua University yesterday and Peking University today. They met Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China Tsinghua University Committee Prof Guo Yong, and Deputy Secretary of the Peking University Party Committee & Peking University Vice President Prof Ning Qi. They introduce them to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s talent attraction measures, and to the work of Hong Kong Talent Engage in offering comprehensive support services to talent arriving in Hong Kong.

Mr Sun said he was pleased to learn that applications from over 3,000 graduates of each of the two universities have already been approved since the launch of the Top Talent Pass Scheme. He encouraged more outstanding graduates and alumni from the two universities to showcase their talents and pursue careers in Hong Kong.

In addition, the delegation called this morning on the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Security, where they met its minister Wang Xiaoping.
