Athletes cheered in bus parade

The Government and the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China this morning held a bus parade for the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, attracting crowds of people to cheer along the route.

 

The parade was organised to celebrate the delegation’s historic achievements at the games and welcome them on their triumphant return.

 

Two open-top buses set off from the Hong Kong Sports Institute, Sha Tin. The buses then passed through Tai Wai MTR Station, before proceeding to the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower. Next, it headed to the Central Star Ferry Pier, via the Cross Harbour Tunnel, and finished at Tamar Park.

 

Upon arrival at Tamar Park, the athletes participated a sharing session with students to talk about their Olympic experiences.
