Officials to attend HK-GD conference

Chief Executive John Lee will lead a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government delegation to attend the 24th Plenary of the Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference in Guangzhou tomorrow.

 

The meeting, co-chaired by Mr Lee and Guangdong Governor Wang Weizhong, will discuss the enhancement of co-operation in such areas as innovation and technology, finance, healthcare, cross-boundary transport and trade.

 

Members of the Hong Kong delegation include Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki; Deputy Secretary for Justice Cheung Kwok-kwan; Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang; Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Christopher Hui; Secretary for Health Prof Lo Chung-mau; Secretary for Transport & Logistics Lam Sai-hung; Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Prof Sun Dong; Acting Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Bernard Chan; and Acting Secretary for Environment & Ecology Diane Wong.

 

The Chief Executive will return to Hong Kong tomorrow evening.
