Secretary for Transport & Logistics Lam Sai-hung will lead a delegation of the Hong Kong Maritime & Port Board to visit Tokyo tomorrow to promote Hong Kong's advantages as an international maritime and logistics hub.
 
Mr Lam will meet a number of local enterprises and maritime industry organisations during the visit to introduce the various high-value-added maritime services and concessions in Hong Kong and explore co-operation with Japan.
 
He also plans to meet local government officials to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
 
Mr Lam will return to Hong Kong on July 5. During his absence, Under Secretary for Transport & Logistics Liu Chun-san will be Acting Secretary.
