CE to attend HK-GD conference

Chief Executive John Lee will lead a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government delegation to attend the 24th Plenary of the Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference in Guangzhou on June 27.
     

The plenary’s theme is taking forward high-quality development in Hong Kong/Guangdong co-operation and realising the Greater Bay Area’s new strategic positioning.
 

Mr Lee will co-chair the plenary with Governor of Guangdong Province Wang Weizhong. The two sides will discuss enhancing co-operation in areas such as innovation and technology, finance, healthcare, cross-boundary transport and trade.
     

The Hong Kong SAR Government delegation comprises Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki, Deputy Secretary for Justice Cheung Kwok-kwan, Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang, Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Christopher Hui, Secretary for Environment & Ecology Tse Chin-wan, Secretary for Health Prof Lo Chung-mau, Secretary for Transport & Logistics Lam Sai-hung, Secretary for Innovation, Technology & Industry Prof Sun Dong and Director of the Chief Executive's Office Carol Yip.
     

Mr Lee will return to Hong Kong on the same day.
