The Major Sports Events Committee has awarded “M” Mark status to the Hong Kong Sevens 2024, which will be held from today until Sunday.

The committee’s Chairman Wilfred Ng noted that the event will promote sports development and showcase Hong Kong’s ability to host world-class sports events.

It will also add vibrancy to the city, bring in more visitors from abroad and enhance Hong Kong’s position as a centre for major international sports events, he said.
