Startup intern scheme launched
The Home & Youth Affairs Bureau, in partnership with the Cyberport Management Company and the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), launched the Youth Start-up Internship Programme 2024 today, offering 200 internship placements at local startups.
For the new round of the programme, Cyberport and the HKSTP will provide internship placements of three to six months, covering various disciplines such as data analysis, fintech, artificial intelligence, business development and marketing.
The participating companies can engage interns on a full-time, part-time or mixed basis. Applicants should be local full-time post-secondary students. Apart from internship placements, Cyberport and the HKSTP will also arrange a series of training and entrepreneurship activities for the interns as well as visits to startups in the Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area.
Interested young people should submit applications to companies online. Upon receipt of the applications, participating companies will conduct assessments and selection for implementing the internship arrangements.
