HK team bags 6 more medals
Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung congratulated the Hong Kong, China delegation on winning three silver and three bronze medals at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou today.
Mr Yeung said: “Hong Kong athletes sent home more news on their victories. We are excited with joy and applaud them.”
Grabbing silver medals today were windsurfer Ma Kwan-ching in the Women’s iQFOil event; sailor Stephanie Louise Norton in the Women’s Single Dinghy - ILCA6 race; and fencers Vivian Kong, Kaylin Hsieh, Chan Wai-ling and Chu Ka-mong in the Women’s Épée Team match.
The bronze medal winners were the Men’s Foil Team of fencers Cheung Ka-long, Ryan Choi, Nicholas Edward Choi and Yeung Chi-ka; Cheng Ching-yin in the Windsurfing Men’s iQFOil event; and cyclers Lee Sze-wing, Leung Bo-yee, Leung Wing-yee, Yang Quanyu and Pang Yao in the Women’s Team Pursuit.
