Secretary for Transport & Logistics Lam Sai-hung will leave for Guangzhou tomorrow for a two-day visit.

Mr Lam will meet the leaders of Guangdong Province and its Department of Transport to exchange views on strengthening the transport network and connectivity between Hong Kong and other Greater Bay Area cities as well as discuss facilitating the flow of people and goods in the region.

In addition, the transport chief will inspect an automated parking system and visit companies involved in the research and development of autonomous driving technology in Guangzhou.

Mr Lam will return to Hong Kong on Thursday evening. During his absence, Under Secretary for Transport & Logistics Liu Chun-san will be Acting Secretary.
