Chief Executive John Lee will lead a delegation to Hangzhou in Zhejiang on September 22 for the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou (Asian Games) to be held the next day.

Mr Lee will visit the Asian Games Village to attend the flag-raising ceremony for the Hong Kong, China Delegation. He will meet athletes to learn more about their preparation as well as watch some Asian Games events and cheer for Hong Kong athletes.

He will return to Hong Kong on September 25. During his absence, Chief Secretary Chan Kwok-ki will be Acting Chief Executive.
