To support the country's designation of August 15 as National Ecology Day starting this year, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and non-governmental organisations will launch special activities and offers on that day.

On August 15, the Hong Kong Wetland Park will offer free admission, workshops, and guided tours. Eco-guides will provide a nature interpretation service at eight popular scenic spots in country parks for the public to learn about Hong Kong’s beautiful and unique nature ecology.

People can also enjoy a special discount of 18.5% off for gift redemption at GREEN@COMMUNITY's recycling stations or stores, gift redemption units at the smart recycling network under the Environmental Protection Department as well as on the Green$ mobile app.

Organisations such as Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden, Environmental Association, WWF-Hong Kong, Green Power, the Conservancy Association, the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society, Hong Kong Wetlands Conservation Association and Hong Kong Ocean Park will provide a series of free activities and offers, including free admission, free guided eco-tours, night safari, workshops, seminars and souvenir distribution.
