Haw Par Mansion to reopen

June 5, 2023

From Fridays to Sundays and on public holidays starting June 9 (except for the first three days of the Lunar New Year), Haw Par Mansion will be reopened for public visits through guided tours by appointment, the Antiquities & Monuments Office announced today.

There will be four Cantonese sessions per day, each accommodating 24 participants. Docents will guide visitors to tour the private garden and most of the mansion’s interior. They will also introduce its history, architectural features and heritage value.

Appointments can be made here from 10am tomorrow.

Located at No. 15A, Tai Hang Road on Hong Kong Island, Haw Par Mansion was overseas Chinese merchant Aw Boon Haw’s residence. It was accorded Grade I historic building status in 2009.
