The Home & Youth Affairs Bureau, the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education and the Working Group on Local Community under the Constitution & Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee are launching a new round of the Basic Law Quiz Competition.

The competition aims to enhance Hong Kong people's understanding of the relationship between the Constitution and the Basic Law, the Basic Law and its history, and the National Security Law.

The competition comprises the Family Category, Senior Primary Category, Secondary Category and Open Category. Participants shall answer the quiz questions and submit their applications via the competition website, or download the application form from the website to join the competition.

Participants who successfully submit their applications will have the opportunity to receive a souvenir while stocks last.

The competition opens from today for application. The deadline of the entry round is December 30.

Upon closing of the entry round, those with the highest scores in each category will be selected by ballot to attend the final round and prize presentation ceremony which is tentatively scheduled for March 2023.
