The Lands Department today announced it registered 20 lease modifications and three land exchanges in the Land Registry for the quarter ending September, of which seven were technical changes involving no premium.

Seven are located on Hong Kong Island, seven in Kowloon and nine are in the New Territories.

Another three lots were granted by private treaty during the period.

Two were granted to the Housing Authority for public housing developments in Yau Tong and Fanling.

Another one was granted to the Housing Society for developing public rental housing units and subsidised sale flat units in Kwu Tung.

The transactions realised a total land premium of around $2.029 billion.
