Secretary for Culture, Sports & Tourism Kevin Yeung today congratulated Hong Kong athlete Marco Fu on notching up the first runner-up prize in the Hong Kong Masters 2022.

Mr Yeung said Marco Fu's first runner-up prize in the tournament hosted in the ctiy carries a significant meaning.

“Staying calm, focused and determined throughout the competitions, his performance demonstrates Hong Kong spirit and power with outstanding techniques. Even further, he made the record of a 147 maximum in the Hong Kong Coliseum.

“We and all Hong Kong people are thrilled and truly proud of him. We wish him success in the game of snooker in future.”
