The application deadline for the Second Kindergarten Premises Allocation Exercise 2022 will be extended from September 2 to September 23, the Education Bureau announced today.

It said given the recent upward trend in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and the fact that schools are busy making preparations for the start of the new school year, including the strengthening of anti-epidemic measures, the work in applying for the kindergarten premises will inevitably be affected.

Therefore, the deadline for submitting applications for the exercise will be extended in order to provide more time for prospective applicant bodies to prepare their applications.

The duly completed application form, information on the operation plan, list of operating schools run by the applicant body and supporting documents should reach the bureau's Kindergarten Education Division by 5pm on September 23.
