Chief Executive John Lee today convened the first meeting of the COVID-19 Expert Advisory Panel to seek the professional opinion of the experts and exchange views with them.

 

Mr Lee said the Government closely monitors and assesses the situation and latest trends in order to formulate an anti-epidemic strategy that achieves the best outcome with the least cost.

 

“The experts’ views will serve as a reference for the Government in devising its anti-epidemic measures.”

 

The advice offered by the six professors ie David Hui, Ivan Hung, Lau Chak-sing, Lau Yu-lung, Gabriel Leung and Yuen Kwok-yung helps the Government combat the virus on a scientific basis and is much appreciated, the Chief Executive added.
