HK, SG civil service heads meet
Secretary for the Civil Service Ingrid Yeung today met Singaporean Head of Civil Service Leo Yip.
Welcoming Mr Yip’s visit, Mrs Yeung said the civil services of Hong Kong and Singapore have been maintaining close ties. While reciprocal visits could not be materialised in the past two years under the COVID-19 epidemic, she looked forward to resuming and enhancing exchanges and co-operation in the future.
Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service Clement Leung and Civil Service College Head Oscar Kwok also held a meeting with Mr Yip on enhancing training and co-operation between the two civil services.
The Singaporean official also attended a roundtable meeting with Hong Kong's senior officials from various government bureaus and departments. During the session, both sides exchanged views and shared experience on issues including education and youth, culture and sports, and transport and logistics.
