More officials distribute service bags

April 3, 2022

Several principal officials today distributed anti-epidemic service bags to grassroots families in various districts and called on the public to unite to fight the COVID-19 epidemic.

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Edward Yau, along with his team members, issued the service bags in Ap Lei Chau where he encouraged the recipients to conduct rapid antigen tests, via the self-testing kits inside the bags, for three consecutive days from April 8 to 10.

At Kwong Yuen Estate in Sha Tin, Secretary for Food & Health Prof Sophia Chan joined volunteers to hand out service bags to residents there.

Secretary for the Environment KS Wong, together with about 30 staff from the Environment Bureau and the Environmental Protection Department, distributed the anti-epidemic supplies to the grassroots residents of two single-block buildings in Kwai Tsing.

Residents in Sham Shui Po received the service bags after Secretary for Security Tang Ping-keung led a team tasked with furnishing such supplies.

The team included personnel in the Security Bureau, staff of the disciplined services and auxiliary services departments, representatives of the Independent Police Complaints Council as well as leaders and representatives of youth uniformed groups of various disciplined services departments.

Additionally, Secretary for Innovation & Technology Alfred Sit teamed up with his colleagues to participate in the distribution of the service bags to residents of "three-nil" buildings and grassroots families in Western District.
