891 cases found in restricted areas
The Government today announced that 891 preliminary positive COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas covering designated buildings in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Lai Chi Kok and Kwun Tong.
It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday for blocks 4, 5 and 6 of Tsui Ning Garden in Tuen Mun, where a total of 2,470 people were tested and 246 preliminary positive cases were identified.
For blocks 1, 2 and 5 of Sherwood Court, Kingswood Villas in Yuen Long, 1,905 people were tested and 115 preliminary positive cases were identified.
For 80-82 and 84-86, Broadway, Mei Foo Sun Chuen Phase 3 in Lai Chi Kok, 704 people took a virus test, with 52 preliminary positive cases reported, while at Tin Yiu House and Tin Wing House of Shun Tin Estate in Kwun Tong 478 out of 1,760 people preliminarily tested positive.
There were also 95 indeterminate cases in the restricted areas, the Government added.
