Regarding a photo circulating on the Internet claiming that toilets in the Tsing Yi community isolation facility have no partitions, the Security Bureau today clarified that the photo does not show a toilet in the facility.

In a statement, the bureau stressed that although the Tsing Yi community isolation facility was completed in just seven days, the pedestal and squat-type toilets provided are all in independent compartments.

It added that the shower compartments are also equipped with a hot water supply.

Furthermore, the cleaning contractor will conduct disinfection and cleaning regularly to ensure the facility's hygiene.

Each occupant will be given a floor plan clearly indicating the location of the toilets and shower compartments.

The bureau strongly condemns individuals who deliberately mislead the public by publishing such an inaccurate photo.
